To assist authors and contributors with the keying of their work to the standard required, we have made available ERIN TEMPLATES.

Please note that the instructions are intended to give consistency of style and format. Failure to comply with these instructions may result in your paper being returned and cause an elimination of Your paper.

The abstract should give a brief account of the most relevant aspects of your paper, in max. 250 words.

Abstracts of no more than one page should be submitted.

Abstract template:

Abstacts must be produced electronically and be PC compatible.

All the chosen abstracts will be processed using LaTeX, therefore there is no need to use any predefined styles.

Conference papers

The length of the full text, including figures and references, should not exceed 8 pages.

The preferred length is 4-6 pages.

Full paper template:

The selected conference papers will be published in the Acta Polytechnica CTU Proceedings journal.
Authors should follow the instructions stated in the Acta Polytechnica >> Guide for Authors <<. The papers
should be submitted in an editable MS Word compatible file or in a LaTeX document using the
>> actapoly template <<. If You choose writing in LaTeX, submit a .zip archive containing all necessary files. If you choose writing in MS Word, You can use the following template.

Instruction for oral presentation

Authors of the papers will give their oral presentations, as stated in the conference programme.

Lecture: 12 min + 3 min discussion

We kindly ask the presenters to respect the assigned times. Total length of the presentations will be monitored and strictly adhered to.

All written text in the presentation must be in English.

Oral presentation may be given in English, Slovak or Czech language.

Please, save your presentation in .ppt, .pptx and/or .pdf format.

We kindly ask the presenters to upload their presentations during a break before their sessions start at latest, and use USB FLASH DISCs.
If your presentation includes a video, please make sure in advance that the video works.

Following items will be available in the lecture rooms:

  • video projector + presentation pointer
  • MS Windows
  • MS Office 2010 (MS Power Point 2010)
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader, version 9
